Khichdi is one of the most nutritional foods for babies and toddlers. This Khichdi mix contains Ajara Ghansal, which is considered as one of 3 best rice varieties as first food for babies.
Additionally, it contains green moong dal and black moong that are both excellent sources of protein for young babies.
The texture of this mix is milled in-house to ensure that the cooked khichdi can be easily eaten by babies as young as 9 mos old.

KHICHDI
- Wash 1/4 cup of Khichdi Mix and soak in 1 cup of water for at least 30 mins in a pressure cooker.
- Put the vessel on Medium Heat and add a pinch of turmeric, some salt (if using) and 1/2 tsp of ghee in the mix.
- Once the water starts to boil, skim off any froth that gathers on the top and shut the cooker.
- Pressure cook it for at least 2 - 3 whistles.
- Once completely cool, open the lid, add another spoon of ghee and mix well. This will ensure that any big bits will also be smashed.
- Cool slightly and serve.
