Native to India, Green Moong is one of the most easily digestible lentils and an excellent source of protein, thus making it highly suitable for babies and older people. 

In fact, sprouts of Moong Beans are high in protein (21%-28%), calcium and phosphorus. Flour from whole or sprouted Moong Beans are excellent in nutrition for infants, lactating mothers, and special needs patients. The Amino Acid (Protein) Profile of Green Moong is similar to that of Soybeans.
