Description
Proso Millet dates back to 2000 BC when it is reported to having been grown in central Europe. It is well suited to dry climates of Central Russia, northern India, Africa, Manchuria, and the Great Plains area of North America.
Proso Millet contains high lecithin which supports the neural health system. It is rich in B-complex vitamins, folic acid, zinc, phosphorus, calcium and iron, and essential amino acids.
Proso Millet is also an excellent yet cheaper source of manganese as compared to conventional sources like spices and nuts.
