Native to India, Green Moong is one of the most easily digestible lentils and an excellent source of protein. Thus, making it highly suitable for babies and older people. 
In fact, sprouts of Moong Beans are high in protein (21%-28%), calcium and phosphorus. Flour from whole or sprouted Moong Beans are excellent in nutrition for infants, lactating mothers, and special needs patients. The Amino Acid (Protein) Profile of Green Moong is similar to that of Soybeans.

Cooking Instructions


1. Soak Moong for 5-6 hours.
2. Remove water, rinse and place the beans in an airy container with perforation or a muslin cloth.
3. Leave in a cool place at room temperature for 12-24 hrs till sprouted.
4. Keep checking in between and if need be then sprinkle water on Moong Beans to keep moist.
