The tribal farming community stepped out of their comfort zone and joined hands with chefs and food industry stalwarts, like Chef Thomas, Chef Gresham, Rushina Ghildiyal and Veruschka Culinary Foundation of differently abled kids, to organise the Rice Festival on February 4th, with the sole reason to shine light on the native and indigenous varieties of rice that they grew last season.. What a beautiful start to the year 2023!
OOO Farms, however, continued to spread the message of the tribal farmers through the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (KGAF) on February 11 & 12th and a rice exclusive Pop-Up with Chef Gayatri of Ground Up in Pune on February 18th & 19th.
Chef Gayatri, nay, Magician Gayatri, cooked an innovative and delicious 9-course meal with different varieties of OOO Farms’ native rice varieties. Goes to show that food is best when the hands that grow our food directly shake hands with the hands that cook our food!
Thank you for your support and showing up for us, the tribals and the soil.
