Gir Cow Ghee

Desi ghee made of Gir cow's milk is indigenous to North Gujarat.

It is due to the efforts of the indigenous pastoral Bharwad community of Gujarat, that the native genes of the Gir cows have remained very strong

Gir cows are Grassland cows. In fact, the local gir cow has been so strong that they have been taken to Brazil and domesticated there.

In general, locally domesticated animals are best suitable to their own region and thus, Gir cow is best suited in the Gir region. Taking them out of their native region, results in 

changes in the quality of milk produced. In effect, the whole dialogue about A2 milk and its products makes more sense when the cow is staying in its own region.

Add to this, the pastoral community ways of rearing the cows means natural grass-fed and seasonal migration - thus better milk.
