    Rinse gavar phali in a colander, drain. Cut into 1-inch pieces after removing the head, tail, and strings. Steam for 5-8 minutes. Mix besan and spice powders. Sauté ajwain, garlic, and green chili. Add besan-spice mix, cook for 1-2 minutes. Add steamed gavar and salt, cook for 2 minutes. Add garam masala and amchur.
